Talk: Illustrator's Journey: The Spaces that Shape Creative Practice

Soleil (@choleil) is an illustrator and designer based in Manila, Philippines, drawing much of her inspiration from bold, powerful women. Alongside her art, she also serves as head florist and creative lead at their small cafe and flower shop—Saglit by Flower Ranch Cafe. Outside of work, she splits her time between climbing at the bouldering gym and quiet evenings at home with her cats.




Talk: Illustrator's Journey: Community Through Comics

For over a decade, Manila-based illustrator and cartoonist Diigii Daguna (@smorescake) has created pages both locally and globally. Working on Adventure Time, Over The Garden Wall, Regular Show, and Aggretsuko, as well as publishing with Dark Horse, Oni Press, Boom Studios, Shortbox, and more.

Beyond their published work, Diigii is an art director for Manila Comics Fair and Pushpin Visuals, they help shape communities where artists gather, collaborate, and thrive. Now, they’re building new worlds with a graphic novel in progress for Bulgilhan Press, alongside fresh pitches with their agent.

Step into this talk and learn more about how Diigii used comics to provide a platform for stories to flourish!
